There are plenty of books available that apply to landscape and related issues, but it is a great challenge to find those which apply to the unique conditions that are the norm here in our part of the world. Just as important, it is good to find sources of information that are both accurate and inspiring.

Below are some resources that are very useful for working with landscapes in the high deserts and high plains of the Great American Southwest.
