Part of the landscape or green industry involves educating and inspiring people, not just creating inspiring landscapes.

Thanks to the efforts of several insightful authors, along with the Internet, accurate information is more available on the formerly neglected subject of landscapes and plants for the high deserts and high plains of the American West.

First, Foundations are articles provided to discuss some basic aspects of successful landscapes. Some are already posted; others are being written for future posting. In addition, Links offers a lengthy list of useful, outside websites, and Literature includes useful books and articles, so the reader can become empowered to make great landscape decisions (and less all-too-common mistakes)!
